Ecodraw was asked to analyse the carbon emissions for Part L2A, satisfy the BB 101 overheating regulations and achieve BREEAM points for a new construction block at a college in London.

After liaising with the architects we used their designs as the basis for our dynamic simulation TAS model. With the buildings geometry input we worked with the engineers to accurately model the buildings mechanical and electrical services.

With the Dynamic simulation model complete we was finally able to produce results for the buildings predicted carbon emissions and levels of overheating. We then compared the results to the regulation standards to ensure that the building satisfied both Part L2A and BB 101. We also highlighted what BREEAM points the building would receive based on its design.
