We are experts in the use of EDSL TAS (Thermal Analysis Software) which we use to create a dynamic simulation model of many of our projects. We then use this model to simulate the performance of the building in terms of natural ventilation, overheating or daylighting. Allowing the client and designers to understand how their building is predicted to react before it even starts being built.

This is an invaluable design tool to incorporate into your project as creating an early model of the building can save both time and money down stream by predicting what problems are likely to occur and fixing them before they start to be constucted on site.

Although we are located close to the Essex and Suffolk border, we are able to work on any building located in the UK and other projects around the world. Our EDSL TAS dynamic simulation models use actual weather data and therefore once a model is input we can simulate its energy use and carbon emissions as if it were located anywhere in the world.

At Ecodraw all of our engineers are fully qualified Low Carbon Consultants and Low Carbon Energy Assessors accredited with CIBSE (Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers). We also hold public liability insurance and personal indemnity insurance to the value of £5 million, allowing us to work on some of the largest projects.
